Board of Directors
Our Board is responsible for managing Stories Empowered as a whole, with each person heading a different aspect, whether it be social media or a project like Uplift All Voices.
Social Media Team
The Social Media Team works with the Public Relations Director to brainstorm new social media content and brainstorm publicizing strategies to help expand the audience of Stories Empowered
Podcast Team
The Podcast Team is in charge of creating the podcast episodes for the Uplift All Voices Project. Members work together to release episodes that highlight representation in media.
Marketing Team
The Marketing Team is dedicated towards growing our platform. The main goals of the team are to increase user engagement with projects. The team also forms partnerships with organizations and plan events.
Multimedia Team
The Multimedia Team is a group of permanent artists who work under the Visual Perspectives project to create visual art works, such as paintings, short films, or photos, for Stories Empowered.
Journalism Team
The Journalism Team is dedicated to producing written pieces centered around the BIPOC experience. In addition, editors go through each piece to ensure that they are ready for publication.
